How to get listed in 48 hours

T his is impossible I hear you say well, I put it to you that it isn’t. I will show you that there is in fact a technique that will almost completely change the way you look at submitting your websites.
First things first, and I cannot emphasise this enough DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SITE TO SEARCH ENGINES. This is very important, because if you read the pages correctly when you are submitting your site it states that it can take up to 6 weeks to index your site.  So if you submit your site via a form it will be impossible for the search engine to index it within the 48 hours.
But I have already submitted my site what can I do? Well do not worry too much, if you still follow this tutorial then your site will get indexed sooner but it may take longer than 48 hours to index.
So without any more delay let’s get stuck in, first of all some history into how search engines work, now you can skip this if you like but it is important insight on how they work.

How Search Engines Work.

The way a search engine finds new websites is simple yet complex.  First they pick a random website from their huge list; they then use what is called a “spider” to “crawl” over that page.  Whilst the spider is crawling the website it index’s what it finds, once it has finished it then follows any links that are not on that site, so if the website had a link to Amazon for instance then the spider would visit that site and start indexing that site.  So the spider is constantly crawling the internet, updating what it already knows is out there.
So how do you get listed? Simple you write an article based on the topic of your website.  So if your website was about turkey you could write an article on “100 ways to catch a turkey” lame I know but it’s a good example!
So you have written your article, its not too long but not too short what do you do now? Well before you do anything first make sure that you have a link to your website in the article somewhere.  I tend to put a signature in all of my articles with my name and then the link to my website.  Second of all spelling and grammar check your document.  Why do this I hear you ask? Well you don’t want to give a bad impression of your site by having miss-spelled words now do you!
Now that we know the article is ready we need to submit it to a few article websites.  Below you will find a few good article websites where you can submit your article to.  I tend to submit articles to at least 10 article sites, this means you can get your article seen by a lot of people without having to spend hours submitting everywhere

Now some of these websites will require you to register but don’t worry they are friendly and very easy to use.
That is the main step completed, with any luck your site will be showing up in all the major search engines within 48 hours.  However there is an option step you can do which will help your overall rank in the search engines as well as improve the chances of being indexed.
So without further waiting, let’s get this second stage started.
Inbound Links.
Now this really is another trick to better your rank but if you do it from day one then it will benefit you even more!  So what are inbound links? Inbound links are links from other websites, so by submitting your article to 10 article sites you have in fact got 10 current inbound links to your website!  So why not submit your article to more article sites? Well yes you could do that but you can only do it so many times.  So how do you increase your inbound links without using articles? Simple, it is something that most people online already do but don’t even think about it.  Forums!
Yes that’s right forums.  Many forums allow you to insert a signature in your posts, so why not put a link to your website? Heck you could even put the image of your logo there as well!  So for every forum you use (that is if they permit external links) simply put a link to your website and then every post you place will have your website on it, now imagine if you posted in 12 different threads that would be an extra 12 links into your site all from one place! Now imagine if you did that for just 3 forums, for only a few minutes a day you could drastically increase your inbound links.  Another way is to simply ask websites that you know if they will link to your site, this doesn’t always work so it is best to use the article and forum method to start with.
So in this article you have learned how to submit articles to get your site indexed and also how to help improve your ratings by using inbound links.
I hope you have enjoyed this article and remember check back for the next instalment.
Kind Regards
